Privacy notice

Effective October 24, 2026. This notice covers the website estimate request form.

The quote form collects contact details, vehicle and glass requirements, a general project location, additional details and optional customer-selected photos. Phone number and preferred timing are optional. Email confirmation is checked for accuracy but not stored as a second copy. These are used to assess enquiries, communicate with customers and arrange the work. We do not add enquiry contacts to marketing lists. Optional photos are kept out of public galleries; separate, explicit customer permission is required before using them for marketing.

Request details are stored in Cloudflare D1. Processed photos are stored separately in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket with public access disabled. Photos are resized to a maximum of 1600 pixels and converted to JPEG. Embedded location/EXIF metadata is removed. Original photo files are not retained after processing. Only the authenticated business owner can access saved photos through this website.

Cloudflare hosts the request service and processes uploaded images. Resend sends business notifications and customer acknowledgements; those emails contain enquiry details, but photos are not attached. The business notification goes to retrovisionglassco@gmail.com. Cloudflare and Resend may process information outside Canada. The database was created with a Western North America location hint, the photo bucket uses an automatic Eastern North America location, and Resend uses its Northern Virginia region; these are not Canadian residency guarantees.

Spam protection uses rate limiting, a hidden spam field and, in production, Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile sends verification information to Cloudflare. Owner sign-in uses browser HTTP authentication, and the website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Turnstile may use its own security mechanisms; review the chosen widget configuration and Cloudflare’s privacy information before launch.

Website retention: website enquiry details and photos are scheduled for deletion 90 days after submission. Cleanup runs periodically, so deletion may occur shortly after that point. Any estimate, invoice or ongoing job records needed separately would be retained in the business records system under its own retention requirements. Email copies and provider backups require separate handling and are not covered by deletion from the website database.

Close your browser tab if abandoning the form: entered information is kept in page memory during retries, not saved to browser storage.
